Jost Van Dyke

Jillian invited me to join her and Chris to take the DJ to the Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost Van Dyke for the New Year's Eve celebration. We had an amazing day drinking nilla pain killers and people watching on the beach. It was a beautiful day and a lot of fun.

SO SICK!

'Twas the day after Christmas and all through St. John the beaches were packed and the sun was shining! So we went to the beach before Mike had to catch a flight, so we went early and got a great spot! Sitting on the beach Mike commented that he would be able to take a great picture of himself in my sunglasses. So that he did and it turned out awesome!

Merry Christmas

We set up a photo shoot on Cinnamon today for our very own Christmas card! Mike is always coming up with these types of ideas and it is a lot of fun. Driftwood for the sign was a pretty great idea. Merry Christmas!

I am learning I promise!

I may have mentioned that I am not the world's best driver. I thought about it though and although I am in my late 20s this is really only the 4th year of my life when I've driven more than a handful of times a year. There was no need for it in Spain, New York or 2 of my years in Madison. So after purchasing and driving the first car I've ever bought for 8 months I am almost good at it! Almost. I am far from being cocky about it though, in fact when I drove the mammoth Expedition down and backed it into a parking spot in the Lumber Yard (worst parking lot on earth) with just a few turns of the wheel. Well I thought the occasion warranted a photo. Nice job huh? I've now mastered a skill that my peers were pros at a decade before me! Better late then never though.
