Brunch is back!

There are few things I enjoy more than brunch. On St. John there are a few choices for where you can get a pretty incredible brunch. One of which was Black Sand Bistro, but they have moved it over to their other location La Plancha del Mar and it is as amazing as ever. I had the lobster benny for brunch today. Delicious!

Cinnamon Beach

We spent the day on the beach after a few days of heavy rain during Hurricane Irene. Today's beach was Cinnamon, which I realized that I had only dropped people off at and had never actually spent a day at. I brought a sandwich with me and a seagull stole half of it. That's right I was bested by a seagull. Oh well, we had a great day hanging out at the beach and topped it off with a race to the buoy at the end of the day!

Friends of friends in Paradise

When you live on a tropical island and work in the Vacation Industry it isn't surprising that you have visitors, however it is still always nice. This weekend my awesome friend Jen mentioned that two college friends of hers were on St. Thomas. Alicia and Hung Nu ended up coming over to St. John and twice and I really enjoyed showing them around. We had a good beach day followed by various stops around the island and a great burger at Skinny Legs.
